MICROPOETRY
AN AUTUMN LEAF
by Germain Droogenbroodt

An autumn leaf
that with the help of the wind
has freed itself from its tree knows
that there is no return to its tree
but it does not grieve and whirls
enjoying its short-lived flight
towards unification
with the earth.
