At LIT eZINE we aspire to create a collective of lone voices and make them heard.

Hello Readers!

It is that time of the year again when we are torn between nostalgia for the days gone by and excitement and anticipation for new beginnings. For me, it is also a time to take stock of the achievements and setbacks and plan for new journeys.

LIT eZINE has grown and blossomed under the efforts of my team and the support from my talented writers and ever-eager readers. However, there is always scope for improvement and we will continue to strive for greater heights with every issue we put together. Growth inevitably means change. Growth is also rarely linear. It is rather a meandering uphill climb with every step opening up new vistas.

We know we are growing because we are overwhelmed with submissions at times. It is sad that we have to reject many of them but we do not have enough time to spend on editing and reshaping every piece of writing we receive. Our priority is to stay focused on quality as we try to collect new voices from around the world. Therefore, we have decided to publish LITeZINE twice a year starting 2025 instead of thrice a year. We want to showcase as many writers as we can, to give new creators a platform and experienced ones another window to display their creativity without compromising on quality. Numbers are not important to us, craft is.

We hope that by publishing twice a year, we will be able to publish more excellent writing in our issues and it will also give our dedicated team that spends many voluntary hours snatched from their busy days, more time to work on their own craft.

We have also done away with the sections that we found were least popular to give more space to those that resonate more with the readers. As always, we are open to suggestions from our writers and readers.

Hoping each one of us achieves a million new milestones in the coming year…
