Pandemic Remembrance —

We found ourselves in the deserted streets,
united in the challenge and fearlessness
to the enacted isolation.
Compelled by the oddity of the moment,
we delight in having such a privacy,
fruit and reward for our boldness.
Our love blossomed, swiftly and serenely,
sincere and unique, secluded inhabitants
destined by fate to start a new world.
Let time stop, give this dream ample freedom,
just like a new toy on Christmas.
Don’t lose the magic, stay grounded,
bathe in the water that blesses and revives.
Let it inherit the best of our stories,
the best of our hopes.
May its enchantment never diminish,
but continue to shine for years to come.
