Transformation and Renewal

SHORT POEM

TAN-RENGA
by Christina Chin and Uchechukwu Onyedikam

Peace under blue skies
1
children dream
where love rises
hatred dies
the bloom of
young cherry trees

2
poverty
nations wrestle under
skies painted blue
a single file traffic
of almajiri

3
poor reception
a radio broadcast
piercing the air
the plea for peace
and to share a world
