by David Blumenfeld

Man, lonely, walking alone.

please remember
how much
i loved
you
how much
i cared
please remember
i meant it
when I said
i would
never
love again
please remember
how much
i cried
when you died
how much
it hurt
still hurts
please forgive me
for breaking
my promise
to never
love again
please remember
how lonely
i was
how long it took
please don’t forget
how much
i love you
still
how very much
i
love you
still
