I was out to find a really long word after the shorty- ‘ba’, but I fell in at the deep end lol!

Our 12th grade English teacher, way back in the 1980s, would say something was “a fifty cent word” but this one is a least a dollar and a quarter even before adjustment for inflation.

Yes. I miss the O.E.D online dictionary. O used to enjoy looking up the ameliorated words. My current university library doesn’t have access. Maybe I’ll write a blog on my favourite word. Thanks for sharing.
